Thank you for enabling those who are working hard to make ends meet
Your generous support has allowed Friends of Burma to provide funding to our local leaders who work with different groups, helping them generate some income. Some groups are women only but some have both men and women. They used the seed money in various ways:(1) acquiring new skills such as sewing and then work either independently or together with other women as a group (2) gardening and selling the produce for income (3) raising chicken (4) starting a small shop for snacks and some everyday food items such as eggs and others (5) preparing some traditional food from scratch and selling them to neighbors and those who pass by (6) opening a small salon for manicure and pedicure. They are working hard to meet the need of their families. Life is not easy for them but they are doing their best.
